Description The hosta hybrid ‘Bright Lights’ is prized for its thick puckered gold leaves with streaky wide blue margins.

  Morphology:
The best of the "Tokudama" hostas, ‘Bright Lights’ grows slowly to a height of 15”, but can spread to form a clump 4’ wide. As the leaves develop in the spring they get brighter in color. In June a nice short flower stalk forms, that bears white flowers.

  Adaptation:
Hosta will grow in most any soil but perform best when planted in moist well-drained soil in part shade.

  Pests:
Other than slugs, none are reported.
