Description Blue Nest spruce is sold in the trade as low growing, ground cover dwarf spruce with a pleasing blue-grey color.

  Morphology:
This evergreen groundcover grows 1’ tall, but can spread out to 6’ after a number of years. The foliage has a soft texture and good uniformity. If grown in full sun the blue-grey color will develop to its greatest extent.

  Adaptation:
This species does well on a wide array of soil types. As with other types of spruce it prefers well drained acidic sites.
