Description This woody multi-stemmed spreader is known for its airy habit and its silvery-green delicate foliage bearing striking lavender-blue flowers.

  Morphology:
Russian sage is considered a semi-woody groundcover bearing upright, grayish white stems and lobed, silvery gray leaves 1" wide by 2" long.

  Adaptation:
This sage does well as either a single specimen plant or in a group with others. It can tolerate a wide array of soil types. For use in a mixed perennial border in the middle to back of the border. Suitable for xeriscaping or for use in rock gardens. Cut flowers hold well when displayed inside.
