Description With its boldly striped foliage and lilac colored flower stalks, this ornamental grass makes a nice perennial along side a flower bed or path.

  Morphology:
Sunproof Lilyturf is named for its cream to yellow stripe variegation on green leaves, which are arranged in a clumplike fashion. This is a perennial which can attain a height of 15”-18” with an equal spread.

Racemes of pale violet-purple flowers are produced in the summer. Flowers are held above the leaf blades.

  Adaptation:
Takes full sun in cool climates. As long as it is kept reasonably moist the striped variegation will be maintained during the heat of the summer. Divide clumps every 2 to 3 years in early spring.

  Pests:
None reported.
