Description This tough, drought-tolerant perennial groundcover has glossy green leaves and, in early summer, half-inch golden yellow flowers that open from pink buds.

  Morphology:
Kamschatka sedum forms a dense spreading groundcover with foliage consisting of alternate, linear to mostly spatulate (spoon shaped) succulent leaves which are toothed toward the apex or top half of the leaf. While the foliage is pale green during the summer, it turns a nice bronze to gold in the winter. At maturity the foliage grows 4” off the ground.

In early summer clusters of star-shaped yellow flowers (up to 1/2" wide) appear on arching stems rising above the foliage to 6" tall.

  Adaptation:
This species does best in full sun. It can tolerate poor soil.

  Pests:
None reported.
