Description This Blue Hosta cultivar is known for its highly glossy, deep green leaves which are edged in cream to white.

  Morphology:
Aureomarginata Hosta attains a width of 3’ and a height of 2’. Its leaves are large, heart-shaped (ovate), 8.5" long by 7" wide and twisted with a point. The centers of the leaves are dark green with the edges streaked yellow, later turning white

Flowering begins in late summer. The flowers are purple with a white stripe within. Flowers are borne on 3’ tall spikes.

  Adaptation:
This cultivar prefers partial shade.

  Pests:
Slugs and snails are always a problem if a hosta planting is grown in an area with poor air circulation.
