Description For wet areas where a groundcover is needed Moneywort should be considered. It features golden yellow leaves and bright yellow flowers during the summer. Often called Creeping Jenny.

  Morphology:
This semi-evergreen groundcover grows 3”-6” tall but can spread out to 2 feet or more. This cultivar features rounded, slightly ruffled, yellow leaves (to 3/4" diameter). It produces cup-shaped, bright yellow flowers (to 3/4" across) appear in June.

  Adaptation:
Moneywort does best in moist, but well-drained soils, rich in organic matter. It should not be allowed to dry out during the summer. While it can tolerate partial shade it will realize its best color in full sun.

This cultivar can withstand damper soils than many other types of ground covers and can tolerate limited foot traffic.

  Pests:
No serious disease or insect problems.
