Description Nice dwarfing variety of East Coast native white pine. Makes a nice mounding full sun shrub with blue-cast dense needles.

  Morphology:
"Blue Shag' is slow-growing to 2-4 feet tall and wide. It features needles in bundles of 5. Needles are green with bright silver-grey bands beneath.

  Adaptation:
Full sun to part shade but does best in full sun. Prefers fertile soils but tolerates a wide range of soil conditions. This dwarf eastern white pine is effective in rock gardens, as a foundation plant or in a shrub border foreground.
