Description For the gardener with enthusiasm for weeping conifers, this Blue Spruce variant makes a interesting focal point in the landscape.

  Morphology:
This dwarf Blue Spruce cultivar grows to a height of 6’ (if staked initially) and extends out to 4’-5’. Needles are sharp to the touch and powder blue in color.

  Adaptation:
As with other cultivars of Blue Spruce, this one requires full sun in order to perform its best.

  Pests:
White pine weevil can be a problem on Colorado Blue Spruce in the Pacific Northwest. Larvae burrow into the base of the leader thus killing it.
