Description For non-stop flowering all summer long Goldfinger Shrubby Cinquefoil is a highly tolerant shrub that forms a bright spot in any garden.

  Morphology:
Shrubby Cinquefoil is a deciduous multi-stemmed and many branched shrub, reaching heights of 3’-4’. The growth form of different Shrubby Cinquefoil cultivars varies. Some stay as a low mat while others form an erect shrub.

Shrubby cinquefoil has numerous alternate leaves with 3 to 9 leaflets that have long white hairs on both surfaces.

Shrubby cinquefoil flowers are terminal, occasionally with solitary flowers but usually with many flowers in close clusters. The flowers on this cultivar are yellow, though there are other cultivars that bear white, pink or red flowers. Flowers have 5 petals and are cup shaped.

  Adaptation:
Widely adapted to most soil types. Does best with supplemental irrigation but can survive under drought conditions.

  Pests:
Powdery mildew can show up on sites where air circulation is poor.
