Description Of all the Green Ash cultivar ‘Marshall Seedless’ is the industry standard.

  Morphology:
This deciduous landscape tree attains a height of 50’ and a width of 40’ forming a broadly oval crown.

Pinnately compound leaves are 10”-12” long and 5”-7” wide with opposite leaflets. Each leaf consists of 7-9 serrate leaflets that are lanceolate to elliptical in shape. Leaves are green above and glabrous to silky-pubescent below. Individual leaflets are 3”-4” long and 1”-2” wide. Fall leaf color is yellow.

This cultivar only comes as a male tree and thus does not have seeds.

  Adaptation:
Adapted to a wide variety of soil textures.

  Pests:
Ash anthracnose is common in areas west of the Cascade Mountains.
