Description This is perhaps the most popular upright landscape juniper, forming a narrow column of tight branches carrying silvery blue foliage.

  Morphology:
This is a fast growing Rocky mountain juniper variant that grows to a mature height of 12’-15’ but stays very narrow (2’). It features blue-green, needle-like foliage arranged in an opposite leaf arrangement. The cultivar Moonglow has a wider width, though it has a similar color.

  Adaptation:
The Rocky Mountain junipers adapt well to most sites other than those which are wet during the winter. Once established this cultivar should do well without supplemental summer irrigation.
Ideal for use where a screen is desired, yet very little space is available. An example is the space between a driveway and a neighbors yard as it grows only two feet wide. Space 24" apart for a screen.

  Pests:
None reported.
