Description Weeping Serbian Spruce is a fascinating columnar spruce from a nursery in Germany. This is certainly a highly artistic evergreen with a tall spire-like form with some twist

  Morphology:
This evergreen conifer can attain a mature height of 30’ but still stay less than 8’-10’ wide. Oregon nurseries report this cultivar puts on 6’-10’ of height after 10 years of growth.

The needles are green-blue, with a prominent white line on the lower side.

  Adaptation:
Serbian Spruce can do well in many different soil types and can withstand drought once established. It is quite intolerant of urban pollution, therefore inner city or urban street-side plantings are best avoided.

Best used as a solitary accent in the overall composition.
