Description Firefighter Rose was named in honor of the 343 New York service members who lost their lives in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack.

  Morphology:
This deciduous shrub is typically pruned to under 5’ in height and less than 4’ in width. It features strong, rich red fragrant blooms which attain a size of 4”-6” in width with a petal count of 40-45. The petals have a wonderful fragrance as well.

  Adaptation:
Well suited to most sites that have good sun and adequate drainage.

  Pests:
Some resistance to black spot is reported in the literature.
