Description The Hybird T rose cultivar Mellow Yellow one of the newer (introduced in 2001) yellow selections.

  Morphology:
This is a deciduous shrub that is maintained at 4.5 feet in height, and 3’-4’ in width. It bears dark green leaves.

Bloom starts in May and finishes in October. Flowers are pure yellow, and are classified as a double. They average 35 petals each. They have a moderate fruity fragrance. The flowers will increase in size if plant is in a cooler environment.

  Adaptation:
Select a sunny location with good air circulation to cut down on disease pressure.

  Pests:
Expect to find powdery mildew, and rust if this plant is not well cared for. It is reported to be resistant to black spot.
