Description Of the different Deodar cedar cultivars the one known as Albospica is best recognized for its new white tip growth in the spring that contrasts nicely with the older green needles. Often sold as White-Tipped Deodar cedar in the nursery trade.

  Morphology:
This is a garden conifer that grows to 20’ in height at maturity, but stays narrow as 8’. It features an upright growth habit with dropping branches and an irregular spread.

  Adaptation:
This cultivar does best in full sun on a cool site with acidic soils. It could be sheared as needed.
