Description Cape Blanco Sedum is native to the Pacific Northwest and is sold in the garden center trade.

  Morphology:
This perennial groundcover only grows to 2” in height but can spread out to 24”. It features rosettes of fleshy green leaves which are covered with a silvery-white waxy powder giving it an over-all silvery appearance.

During the summer star-shaped yellow flowers appear in tight clusters.

  Adaptation:
As long as the soil is well drained this sedum variant will prosper. It takes both full sun and partial shade. It is very drought tolerant. Most gardeners will use it in their rock gardens where it will fill in the narrow spaces between stones and pavers.

To further spread this plant break off small pieces and spread them in fertile soil.

  Pests:
None reported.
