Description Snowflake Hinoki Cypress earns its name from the cream colored variegation it displays.

  Morphology:
This is a dwarf conifer that grows to 6’ in height at maturity. It has light green juvenile foliage with cream colored speckles. This eventually turns green in summer. It can also look a little more gray than variegated.

  Adaptation:
Hinoki cypress does best on rich, acidic sites where the winter is mild. This cultivar may scorch if is growing on a droughty site. Excessive moisture on the foliage in direct light can easily burn the needles.

  Pests:
None reported.
