Description The free flowering nature and grand stature of Ornamental Catmint, cultivar 'Sixhills Giant' makes it a must have in the garden. Also known as Giant Catmint. Cats love this plant as much as catnip!

  Morphology:
This is an herbaceous perennial which grows to 3’ and as wide. It features grey-green loose foliage which bears violet-blue flowers held above.

Flowers appear from early summer through September. The scented foliage is very pleasing to people, butterflies, hummingbirds, and cats.

  Adaptation:
Likes sun and dry conditions. Cut back by 2/3 in July to promote reblooming in August to end of summer. Cut all the spent foliage off at the ground-line during the spring clean-up.
