Description This Japanese maple tree was named after the Trompenburg Arboretum in the Netherlands.

  Morphology:
This is a robust garden tree that can attain a height and width of 20’ at maturity. The foliage comes out red in the spring and stays red all through the season. The leaves have a distinctive dragon paw shape. On mature trees the leaf edges roll down, giving it a finger-like effect.
  Adaptation:

This cultivar can withstand either sun for light shade.
