Description This Jack Pine variant forms a prostrate, ground hugging mound with a relatively fine texture.

  Morphology:
This is dwarf conifer that grows to 2’ in height and 4’ in width. The foliage is light green. It produces branches that make interesting twists and turns

The name is pronounced skoo dik. It was discovered on the Schoodic Peninsula of Maine.

  Adaptation:
Look for a full sun site. Avoid wet sites.

This plant can tolerate dry, sandy sites.
