Description For the conifer enthusiast this white spruce cultivar is smaller than other variants such as ‘Conica’. Found at Iseli Nursery, in Boring Oregon in 1981, this signature plant is patented and named in honor of Andre Iseli.

  Morphology:
This is a dwarf conifer that grows to 5’ after many years, but keeps its conical shape resulting in a cone that does not exceed 2’ at the base. It keeps this nice tidy shape and does not need to be sheared. Light green needles are quite short (to 1/4” long) and are distinctively twisted at the ends of the shoots.

  Adaptation:
Best suited to the cooler conditions in the temperate regions.

  Pests:
Spider mites are always an issue if spruce is raised under not dry conditions.
