Description The tantalizing wine-red color and strong clove and spice scent make Purple Heart Rose an appealing choice. This cultivar was introduced in 1999.

  Morphology:
This is a deciduous shrub that grows to 4’ in both height and width. The big double purple blooms reward you with rich aromas all season. The petal count is listed as 30-35. The flower color is listed as mauve. The best color comes with a cooler growing season.

  Adaptation:
Full sun and fertile loam soil will make this cultivar perform its best.
