Description This fascinating perennial bears forget-me-not flowers that are near white with a dark blue eye in the center, thus giving star-like effect. Often called Blue Eyed Mary in the trade.

  Morphology:
This is an herbaceous perennial that grows to 12”’ and spreads to 16”. The leaves are ovate to lanceolate in shape. Flowers extend from May through June

  Adaptation:
Look for a well drained site that gets partial shade for best results. Clip the spent flowers after they are through blooming. Often used in a woodland garden.

  Pests:
Watch for slugs.
