Description This low growing groundcover fills in a planting bed completely as well as producing a plethora of pure white flowers in the spring.

  Morphology:
Creeping Speedwell is a low-growing, mat-forming perennial that is suitable as a groundcover. It has tiny, shiny dark green leaves. It will only grow to 2” in height but can spread to 3’ in width. Flowering begins late spring extending into June. The flowers are star shaped.

  Adaptation:
It will withstand some traffic when planted between patio stones, in rockeries, or used in place of lawn. It likes both full sun and partial shade sites. It can tolerate light foot traffic.

  Pests:
No serious insect or disease problems.
