Description Introduced by a Swiss nurseryman, the weeping spruce knows as ‘Aarburg’ forms a fascinating growth habit of spikes and drooping limbs all on the same tree. Best viewed with a clear sky background.

  Morphology:
This is an ornamental conifer that will grow to 15’ in height but only 5’ in width. It is going to grow quickly when young, shooting up distinct leaders. Lower branches will always have the noted weeping habit.

  Adaptation:
For best performance find a site with full sun to partial shade. Avoid all sites with standing water.
