Description The beautiful scented blossoms of the Spanish Lavender cultivar ‘Otto Quasti’ are highly attractive to butterflies and honey bees.

  Morphology:
This is an evergreen shrub that can grow to 3’ in height and 2’ in width. The leaves are grayish green.

Flowers continue from May through July. Flowers are 1.25” long with purple bracts on top of dark purple flowers along the spike. The purple bracts are held above like bunny ears.

  Adaptation:
Here in the Pacific Northwest Spanish Lavender grows as well as on the French Mediterranean Coast where it is a native plant. Give it a sunny spot with well drained soils. In the late winter it can be cut back if it gets too woody.

Considered to be pest free.
