Description A European Larch that branches erratically in all directions. Leaves are extra long and light green.

  Morphology:
This is a deciduous conifer that grows in all sorts of directions, seemingly at random. After 10 years it may attain a height and width of 10’by 10’. The ultimate height could be much larger (40’ by 40’). One could stake a new plant initially to get it form a more upright tree.

The needles are long, and soft to the touch. of course they are deciduous.

This plant was introduced by Sidney Waxman of Connecticut University around 1985.

  Adaptation:
Best in full sun, but it will still grow in partial shade. It needs to have a well drained soil.

  Pests:
Considered to be pest free.
