Description A fascinating Japanese cedar that seems that never seems willing to stay the same color over the course of the year.

  Morphology:
This a a small dwarf conifer that retains a ball shape its entire life, growing to perhaps 2’ in height and width. In the summer the foliage is gold until the weather gets hot when it turns creamy gold, In the fall the foliage turns to purple tinged.

  Adaptation:
Select a full sun to partial shade site. Keep the site clean from all vegetation so that the foliage can develop its true shape.
