Description Bearing a profusion of bright yellow, chrysanthemum-like flowers, perennial sunflower is valued for its drought tolerance and longevity.

  Morphology:
Growing to a height of 4' or more and a spread of 3.5’, this cultivar of perennial sunflower bears bright yellow double-petal flowers from June through August. The plant has ovate leaves, which along with the stems are hairy.

  Adaptation:
Hardy perennial that does well on all sites. It can be grown in either full sun or partial shade. If the spent bloom is removed the plants will continue to bear well over the entire summer. Divide every 2-3 years. Best situated in the back of the perennial garden due to its eventual height.

  Pests:
None reported.
