Description Pampas grass is a well known outdoor clumping grass which bears floral plumes which can be cut for indoor floral arranagements.

  Morphology:
Pampas grass is a large perennial ornamental grass that grows in clumps 8’ to 10’ tall bearing tall silvery-white plumes which rise to a height of 12’. The edges of the leaves are sharp and should only be handled with gloved hands.

  Adaptation:
Like many plants, pampas grass prefers fertile well-drained loamy soils. It requires full sun in order to flower. When grown under less than ideal conditions it will appear scraggly during the summer.
