Description Tree Lavatera is sold as a bushy robust evergreen shrub known for its profusion of pink flowers extending from mid summer through autumn.

  Morphology:
This species grows to a mature height of 8’ and as wide. It bears simple, alternately arranged palmate leaves, which each have 1-5 lobes. Leaves are typically 3” wide and 3” long.

Pink flowers appear in single clusters in the axils of upper leaves or in loose terminal racemes. Flowers can be 2.5” wide.

  Adaptation:
Widely adaptable to most soil types, and is considered drought tolerant.
