Description Caucasian Daphne is grown as a foundation plant and is prized for its fragrance while in bloom which extends from June right up until the first frost.

  Morphology:
This deciduous shrub grows to 5’ tall and as wide at maturity. It bears simple pale green leaves which are 1” -1.7" long and are arranged in an alternate fashion. Leaves are pale green or bluish-green above.

Fragrant white flowers first form in June and then sporadically throughout the summer. Flowers can give rise to black or red berries.

  Adaptation:
Partial shade to shade; moist, well-drained soil.
