Description The Larkspur cultivar Black Knight is one of the Pacific Giants cultivars featuring dark blue flowers with a black center.

  Morphology:
This is a herbaceous perennial which grows to 5’-6’ tall and 2’ in width. The Pacific Giants series are massive yet gorgeous plants with semi to fully double flowers on spikes that are 17 to 28 inches long and make excellent cut flowers. Leaves are dark green and deeply lobed.

All parts of this plant are poisonous if ingested.

  Adaptation:
Larkspur needs full sun to flower well. It prefers a rich, well drained soil and regular watering. Due to the height of the flower stalks this cultivar will require staking during summer flowering.

Plants tend to be short-lived (3 years or less) and may be considered an annual.

  Pests:
None reported.
