Description This rare dwarf selection of Shasta fir grows 2-6 inches a year. The long needles are a beautiful soft powder blue year-round.

  Morphology:
This dwarf conifer forms a small conical, upright evergreen tree that may attain a height of 10’ and a width of 3’. At 10 years it may only be 6’ tall. The blue color of the needles would resemble those of the Noble fir Christmas tree.

  Adaptation:
This species does best in full sun. It prefers the well drained acidic soils that are common in areas west of the Cascades. It does better with some supplemental summer irrigation.
