Description The floribunda rose cultivar ‘Escapade’ is best known for its pinkish mauve colored flowers which appear on new growth all summer long. Also sold in plant nurseries as 'Harpade' rose.

  Morphology:
This is a deciduous shrub which is normally pruned to less than 5’ and stays under 4’ in width. It features dense foliage and lends itself to being grown in a hedge or mass planting.

The American Rose Society classifies this cultivar as a Floribunda type with semi-double, rose-pink blooms with a white eye in the center of the flower. Flowers are said to be lightly scented.

  Adaptation:
This Rose variant is generally widely adapted to most sites across the United States. Ensure good air circulation to cut down on disease pressure.

  Pests:
Prone to problems with black spot, powdery mildew, and rust.
