Description Introduced in honor of his wife Pat, this is a David Austin rose cultivar from England that has a vivid copper on the inner petals and a softer golden yellow on the outside. It was introduced in 1995.

  Morphology:
This a deciduous shrub that grows to 5’ in height and width. It bears flowers which are large and deeply cupped inward. Flowers reportedly have a fruity scent. The flower stems don’t seem to stand up erect very well, so the flowers tend to face the ground.

  Adaptation:
This is a shrub rose that will need constant summer pruning to keep it looking tidy and to encourage repeat bloom.

  Pests:
Reportedly has good plant disease resistance.
