Description An eye catching variegated variant of common Vinca, this groundcover makes a good selection if it is in a well defined area where it is surrounded by lawn or a hard surface so that it does not become invasive.

  Morphology:
This is an evergreen ground cover that grows to 1’ but can spread to 6’. With multiple plants one could cover an entire bank. The leaves have yellowish white margins surrounding a green interior. They are larger in size than those of the common Vinca (Vinca major).

During the summer it produces small lavender flowers.

  Adaptation:
This ground cover performs best in the shade or partial shade. In full sun conditions the foliage takes on a pale color.

Some consider this plant invasive, especially where other plants are grown next to it.

  Pests:
None reported.
