Description An interesting ground cover Sedum variant that features fleshy ovate leaves during the summer followed by pinkish-red flowers later in the summer. Also named Hylotelephium ewersii in the literature.

  Morphology:
This is a ground cover that grows to 4” in height and 12” in width. The leaves are oblong and blue-green in color.

The star shaped flowers appear in August and extend through September.

  Adaptation:
Select a well drained site with full sun conditions for this sedum for best results. This would make an excellent drought tolerant plant for the rock garden.
