Description With its very prominent central leader and yellow spring growth this Deodara Cedar cultivar makes for a very striking sentinel in the garden.

  Morphology:
This is a golden yellow conifer that can attain a height of up to 20’ and width of 6’ if it is grown in the cooler Pacific Northwest maritime climate. The new foliage is bright yellow before it turns yellow-green in the summer. The branches have a pleasing layered look as they arch over.

  Adaptation:
In areas where this plant is exposed to cool, wet winters and dry summers it will grow very well. A slightly acidic site is preferred.
