Description Wood Anemone is a harbinger of spring bursting forth with a plethora of 6 petal, white flowers. This cultivar is short creeping rhizomatous variant.

  Morphology:
This is a low growing herbaceous perennial that grows to 6” in height and 12” in width.
The leaves are 2-5” long, consisting of 3 palmately compound stems and basal leaves. The leaflets are narrow, toothed, and divided even further.

The flowers semi-double and ¾” to 1 ¼” wide. They are white and are borne only in the spring. After the flowers fade the entire top of the plant dies back for the year.

  Adaptation:
Anemone does best in partial to full shade.
