  Morphology:
This is a dwarf conifer with a deciduous habit. The literature calls it a miniature but clearly this picture shows its growth potential is greater. This particular specimen at the Oregon garden in Silverton OR is 4’ tall and 5’ wide. It features light green needles in the spring followed by a complete switch to yellow in the fall before being shed.
